ARMY: Long Binh Jail was the stockade in Long Binh, Vietnam.

It was pretty
much just like jails in America: 99.9% black.

There was a lot
of violence in this prison, a lot of stuff going on.

People
were angry.

It was a
pretty dire situation.

A group of
inmates got together and we decided that we were going to escape from
this place.

And what
happened was that as a result, there was a Long Binh rebellion where a lot of GIs
accosted guards ...

and they burnt
down the jail
...
