K.D. Lang (Stephen Danelian, 1992)
Los Angeles: Danelian wanted to avoid a glamour-puss pose when
photographing Lang around the time of Ingenue's release, the album of
sophisticated torch songs that brought the singer massive success. He
waited for a rainy day and, using the Holiday Inn in the background,
captured on film, Danelian said, "a naturalness and fluidity, two key
elements of Lang's music."
