[Helen Steel] There have been
lots of groups campaigning against McDonalds around the world on
specific issues like, you know, rainforest groups in the States and
Australia. There were trade unionists fighting for better working
conditions, there were nutritionists criticizing McDonalds for the junk
food, there were animal welfarists campaigning about the way the animals
were reared and slaughtered, but I think it was London Greenpeace that
really drew all the criticisms together.
