POTATO TORTITAS
(8 servings)

2 pounds potatoes, cooked, peeled, and mashed
1-1/2 cups boiling milk
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons butter, softened
Salt and pepper
Corn oil

Combine all the ingredients except the oil, mixing well. Shape into patties. Fry the patties in hot oil, turning once carefully, until golden on both sides. Drain on brown paper and serve piping hot.
