That didn't get the proper coverage that they deserved.
Nearly 5,000 soldiers wounded in the first 13 months of the war.
Wounded Soldier: They have the death toll, but they're not showing the amount of people who have been injured or amputated because of the injuries, you know.
Wounded Soldier: I still feel like I have hands. Yeah. And the pain is like my hands are being crushed in a vise.
But they do a lot to help it, and they take a lot of the edge off it.
It makes it a lot more tolerable. _______________ American Buddha Librarian's Comments: Is this acceptable? That we turn people into partial human beings because we have weapons of war that blow their body parts off of them? IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO ME! You notice how Hollywood is putting out all these movies about cripples, now? Like we're supposed to tolerate this horror in our world. THIS SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE REJECTED. These weapons manufacturers have made hell on earth for all of us. AND THEY WOULD CLAIM TO BRING US SECURITY?!!! BASTARDS!!! MONSTERS!!! DEVILS!!! That would be George Bush at the head of the pack. People even attend his dinner parties, and celebrate for having more than everyone else. THAT IS SO CHRISTIAN! Then people blame God when their children die. Instead of the real culprits, thus perpetuating the evil cycle. People would be better off not believing in God, and taking care of their society, instead of expecting God to do it, and then crying when the miracle does NOT occur. Believing in God is a lazy excuse not to do anything. People who believe in God will believe in anything. Even the 9/11 official story. Then they'll believe in magic, and that the CIA can read our minds! Yeah, and lie detector tests really work! People who believe in God have brought our world to this sorry state. Don't think your piety is going to impress me. It disgusts me! Your piety is without morals! This whole fucking war is one pious display.
