As soon as I received it, I replied to request your telephone number. I now have it from the State Bar website, but would really like to get a call from you, since thusfar the communications have been decidedly one-sided. Google's Legal Department is thusfar known primarily for its unresponsiveness, and my previous attempts to contact Google Legal, before Mr. Walker's tenure, uniformly met with stony silence. In those days, however, I wrote it off to Google still being in startup mode. Those days are gone. With lavish perks at the enviable Google campus the talk of the financial press, and enough money to subsidize lavish corporate flying machines for Mssrs. Brin and Page, I would think the Legal Department could find a way to: (a) publish its contact information on the Google website, (b) respond to communications from attorneys threatening litigation, and (c) hire enough lawyers to actually negotiate with aggrieved parties. Instead, like the railroads at their heyday, Google arrogantly steams ahead, heedless of the injuries to people and property caused by its new operations. As my original letter to Mr. Walker noted back in April, this is really an urgent matter. Please contact me by phone so we can set up professional contact and resolve this matter. Mr. Walker's prolonged failure to answer my calls caused me to invest a considerable amount of time in drafting a bar complaint against him that I may yet submit. Please contact me promptly.
