Although he played a significant role in organizing two million Marxist and Catholic voters into the leftist Chilean Evangelical Church (citing Littman, "Mystery Man"), he later bragged about his involvement in the murder of democratically-elected President Carlos Allende, as well as the attempted murder of Castro, under the orders of the CIA (citing "The Com-12 Briefing," Phoenix Liberator, 3/23/93, p. 16).
