figure that out ...
We've only been able to include in this list a
small number of the many groups conducting anti-militarist education and
organizing anti-war activities in the U.S. The movement is growing
rapidly and is very diverse. Some of the most vibrant organizations are
fledging, local, sectional, and idiosyncratic (and didn't make it on
this list). More organizations are listed on Frank Dorrel's website (www.addictedtowar.com).
We encourage you to contact groups whose activities are most closely
aligned with your own concerns, beliefs, and talents.

Founded in 1917, AFSC is a Quaker organization that includes people of
various faiths committed to humanitarian service. Our work is based on
the belief in the worth of every person and faith in the power of love
to overcome violence and injustice. Programs in the U.S., Africa, Asia,

The CCCO promotes individual and collective resistance to war and
preparations for war. It has been active since 1948, helping people seek
discharge from active military service on grounds of conscientious
objection, providing information and assistance to those faced with a
military draft, enlistment obligations, and registration.

Founded after the September 11 attacks, GPC supports anti-war education
